We are looking for infant teachers. Previous work in a center infant room would be preferred, but not necessary. We are a small Gold level center with a big heart.
Job Details:
- You would be responsible for the day-to-day activities with the children in the classroom, as well as daily cleaning in your classroom.
- We observe lower ratios to maximize the childrens learning.
- We are actively learning with our children all day and want someone who isn't afraid to sit on the floor and play.
- Nurturing, loving people are needed. Reading and singing with the children is a must.
- We observe and interact with children during play to inform our lesson planning to ensure maximum learning benefits for the children in our care.
- We are not "babysitters". We are actively engaged with our children at all levels, working to make sure they meet developmental milestones. You will work with a co-teacher to make sure activities and lessons get completed, that daily needs are met, and that children receive lots of love and attention.
- We partner with our parents to make sure the child is getting the best start in life.
- We are an Early Head Start partner program. We have a coach that helps staff with classroom goals.
- We are actively looking for staff members that can put their phone away and focus on the children in your care.
